Week 5

This week has been a long and busy one.  Pregnancy was a lot easier without a toddler around, although I have to give props to Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas and all of the snacks in the world for keeping Harrison busy while I use stuffed animals as pillows in the playroom and try not to throw up.  I'm not sure if I've forgotten how I felt last time around or if this is worse than before, but I am already ready for the second trimester!  The news has settled in and we are over the moon excited for our growing family, but impatient me is ready for a gender scan and a bump.

How far along? 5 weeks
Maternity clothes? I did put a pair on this week...the bloat is real.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: I'm SO tired, but falling asleep has been a struggle.
Best moment this week: Letting the realness of the pregnancy sink in.
Miss Anything? Fully caffeinated beverages and feeling not nauseous.
Movement: Nada
Food cravings: Nothing yet- most food is a turn off at the moment.
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of pizza in our fridge, yuck.
Gender: Human
Labor Signs: Nope
Symptoms: Nausea, all day every day, bloating hardcore, cramping, and exhaustion.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody.  So very moody.
Looking forward to: Telling our parents next week and hopefully feeling better!
